I read few comments about new HONDA City. I really feel, its too early to comment about this new car

I really doubt, those who wrote bad comments about this new car, is really meant it? because, its too an early stage to make such comments.  the car deliveries are not yet begun. I made a test drive on this car, and i felt its very good on road. Only missing is CD player..but, is it a really problem? a flash drive of 8GB only costing Rs800 and it can fed with 1000s of songs....Price is not really higher...because, the earlier VTECH model was as costly as the new city...may be slighly higher than the new city. But the new city is fully loaded...ABS/dual airbags and all latest features...except climate control and Alloywheels.. If it that also been provided,then whats the difference between Civic and City? Alloy wheels can be fitted if you like to purchase at a cost..


More over, if some wants to buy a good petrol car which provides 15kms/ltr, with ABS/Airbag, between 8-9lakhs, then whats the other options available in the market?

    All the "bad" remarks are not on the performance of the car. Its only on the way it is packaged.

    I get new ZX Vtec with the same price as NHC 2008 but with lot more goodies and better quality. You see the vivid difference when you look at the dashboard and switches between the two. You will not get that complete satisfaction with NHC 2008.

    Now that price of the car is reduced due to reduction in the excise duty, do you think its packaged right now ?

    I read lot of comments on this site related to cheap plastic..i am not sure what is cheap plastic? Is it the way the plastic looks or quality of plastic ? It it cheaper than any of the other cars Maruti etc. use in there car? or is it cheaper because it does not match with the price of the car?

    Not sure if the interior / plastic of the car is such a big factor in making decision in purchasing the car, especially if the car is just slightly over priced.

    I am actually very confused due to comments on the interiors of the NHC 2008, because of which not able to make decision if i should go NHC 2008 or not. As of now i am debating between Swift DZire and NHC 2008.
