Hyundai Getz Prime 1.1 For?
Hyundai Getz Prime 1.1. It is a good car this, I would have said,
and gotten over with the road-test review. But I shall not do that.
I shall not do that because this car is more than just a Getz with Santro's engine.
This is one car that people say is not as good as the Swift to drive.
What the heck! You can have some serious fun with her, I say. Atleast I did!
Looks a Perfect 10?
The Getz has quite a history. The very European look, even in its previous form, was highlighted by a smart face which was complimented by a tight back side. Its body had a very smooth flow to it. This was past. Now fast forward to today. The Getz Prime has grown on to become like a typically European cute-faced middle-aged woman. Thats a good thing 'coz older women are always wise, they say! Big eyes always append an aura of sexiness and it holds true for the Getz Prime as well. Grown too is the grille, which houses a strip running across it with the Hyundai badge occupying the proud place in the centre. Just like, that European grown-up lady, the Getz too does not have much to show off though.
The rest of its body is docile enough and the curvaceous pillars lead upto the rear
that has undergone a bit of a change in the shape of revised tail-lamps.
The Getz Prime has pleasing and delicately attractive looks that will not offend anyone.
Some might even find it mature yet sexy. Much like... Sharon Stone.
Words like 'hot' and 'steamy' would not do justice to the Getz as she is not
really the Monica Bellucci kinds. The Getz Prime is an unpretentious, modest looker
which strikes a fine balance between smartness and elegance.
A perfect Sharon Stone of cars then!
Endowed with the goodies?
Well, not as smart as the outside is the inside tough. What you get is a neatly laid-out dash, but it does not look right somehow. I wonder why, because the plastics do have a solid-enough-for-a-premium-hatch kind of feel but look as if they belong to cars much inferior. That shine forced me to jog my memory to the trusty 'ol Maruti 800 and the Alto which sport the same burnish on their insides, though the quality you get in the Getz is a far cry better!
The Getz tries to capture your attention by a fascia that is inclined towards the driver to give it a pseudo
driver-oriented aura, I think! But it fails. Anyways, let us forgive this humble car for that, can we? The overall
look is livened up by that brushed-alluminum look in the centre which gives an upmarket feel to the dash,
something that the otherwise staid interior desperately begs for!
There are a lot of cubby holes inside. That drink of yours goes in the cup-holder and the wallet poking your behind is accomodated well in one of the slots in the centre console. And if you are still left with something, you can place it in the storage space below the steering wheel! The people occupying the rear-side are not going to find enough space to fit their belongings. There are no rear-door pockets.
