Chevrolet made General Motors's success mark in India. Optra is GM India's most successful model yet. Introduced in India in 2003, under the banner For a Special Journey Called Life, the Chevrolet brand has seven models across segments today in India. Apart from Optra, other models are Aveo, Tavera, Forester, SRV, Aveo U-VA and recently launched Spark. GM hopes that its Chevrolet Spark will be the segment-leader in India.
